Kid's Programs

Kitty Capers
Saturday, Oct. 9, 10:30-11:15 p.m. (Room A/B)
Join us for a story, craft, and lots of fun kitty activities. Registration begins Sept. 25. Ages 4-6.

Gravestone Gathering
Monday, Oct. 18, 6:30-8 p.m. (Room A/B)
Learn about gravestone rubbing. Make a faux headstone using creative designs, haunting language and lots of cobwebs to complete the look. Registration begins Oct. 4. Ages 9-12.

Spooky Monster Magic Show
Saturday, October 30, 11:00 a.m. (Room A/B)
Child friendly spook-tacular magical monster magic. Fun music and loads of audience involvement.   Adult participation and free ticket required 30 minutes prior to the program. Space is limited. All ages.

Eats, Treats and Sweets
Tuesday, November 9, 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. (Room A/B)
Snack foods can be fun to make! We’ll create some easy and scrumptious to eat treats. Take them in a school lunch or snack on them at home. Registration begins Oct. 26. Ages 8-10.

Moose on the Loose
Saturday, November 13, 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. (A/B Room)
Calling all look outs—there’s a moose on the loose! Enjoy a rollicking time with a story, craft and games. Registration begins Oct. 30. Ages 5-7.

Terrific  Tykes
Mondays, September 13-October 18, 10:30-11:30 a.m.  (Youth Dept.)
Stories, music, rhymes and movement fun. Group play concludes the program. Registration begins Sept. 1. Ages 19-24 months.

ABC Storytime
Tuesdays, September 14–October 19, 10:30-11:15 a.m.  (Youth Dept.)
Stories, songs, rhymes, and a craft. Registration begins Sept.1. Ages 3-5.

Read to the Beat
Tuesdays, September 14, 21, October 5, and 12, 10:30-11:00 a.m.  (Room A/B)
Explore music, instruments and body movement while helping your child get ready to read. Adult participation and free ticket required 30 minutes prior to program. Space is limited to 45 participants. All Ages.

Let’s Go On A Reading Hunt!
Wednesdays , September 15-October 20, 10:30 a.m.-Noon  (Room A/B)
Share stories, songs, rhymes and toys while exploring the “six jewels” of early literacy. Adult participation required. Registration begins Sept. 1. Ages 3-5. An Every Child Ready to Read program.

Reading with Rover
Saturday, October 2, November 6, December 4, 11:00 a.m. - 11:30a.m. ( Youth Dept.)
Share a story w i th a trained therapy dog. The dog and owner are certified as a pet therapy team through the For Better Independence Organization. Registration begins Sept. 18.  Ages 5 and up.

Tiny Tales
Wednesdays, September 15-October 20, 10:30-11:30 a.m.  (Youth Dept.)
Stories, music, rhymes and movement fun. Group play concludes the program. Registration begins Sept. 1. Ages 2-3.

Babygarten
Thursdays, September 16-October 21, 10:30-11:30 a.m.  (Youth Dept.)
Join us for a special one-on-one bonding time with baby while enjoying stories, songs, rhyme and play. Adult participation required. Registration begins Sept. 1. Ages 6-18 months.

Mother Goose Café
Fridays, September 24-October 29  (no program 10/1), 10:30 a.m.-Noon  (Room A/B)
Share stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays and bubbles. Group play concludes the program. Adult participation and free ticket required 30 minutes prior to program. Space is limited to 75 participants. All ages.

Bright Start Playgroup
Fridays, September 24-October 29, 10:00-11:30 a.m.  (Youth Dept.)
Bond with your baby through books, music and play. Let us suggest great books for your little one. Drop-in. Infant to age 2.
