Citationmachine.net* is an online resource for writing your bibliography in the most commonly used styles: MLA (Modern Language Association) or APA (American Psychological Association) style.

How to use:

  1. Go to http://citationmachine.net
  2. Choose from the left sidebar the type of material for which you want to make a citation (book, journal article, encyclopedia, etc.)
  3. Fill out the form with the correct citation information
  4. The information you provided in the form will be transformed into both APA and MLA citaton layout.
  5. Highlight the citation text, Copy and paste it into your word processor.
  6. If your citation lost the hanging ident, be sure to put it back in.
